I'm sure only Koko and I can really keep track of the disaster that has been Roxas and Axel's relationship in Marina. Everyone else probably looks at them and goes, "How did that happen?" No one is more anxious about breaking from their canon relationship than I am; I love being as faithful to canon as I possibly can, and only straying from it slowly and with lots of development. But where I usually develop relationships to be closer or more intimate, this one has strayed farther and farther apart. And since Roxas is always the one who is having issues with Axel, it seems like people who don't know the full story must think, "What is Roxas's problem, anyway?" God forbid Koko should ever drop and some stranger app Axel and have no idea why Roxas won't talk to him. ;;;;

So I decided to make an outline, with links, about how this all went down, to show that it's been a long-standing sequence of events, literally starting at Axel's very arrival, and there's been a lot of development to get here. This is where Roxas is coming from with his current stance on Axel.
